Kristin Van Marter Souers is a licensed mental-health clinician and has more than 30 years of experience teaching, coaching, training, and consulting in a multitude of settings. She is the lead author (with Pete Hall) of two revolutionary, bestselling ASCD books on childhood trauma and stress: Fostering Resilient Learners: Strategies for Creating a Trauma-Sensitive Classroom and Relationship, Responsibility, and Regulation: Trauma-Invested Practices for Fostering Resilient Learners.
